Primate Safaris in Uganda 
Day 1: Arrive at Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary
Following breakfast, you will transfer to Entebbe to the pier from where you will transfer to Ngamba Island. This Island is a sanctuary for chimpanzees run by the Jane Goodall Institute. Normally these chimps are got from the wild and then taken care of here, particularly the infants, which can’t take good care of themselves. You will arrive in time when they are being fed and then you will have the opportunity to observe them. Spend approximately one hour with them and after lunch you will return to the mainland in Entebbe. Dine and overnight rest at Sophie’s Motel, or Lake Victoria Hotel or Winsdor

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi
Today after breakfast you will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The journey will take you to the southwestern part of Uganda. You’ll briefly stop at the equator to take photographs and proceed to Mbarara for lunch before continuing to Bwindi. On arrival if time allows, you will visit the neighboring local communities and be entertained by their traditional music and dance performances. Dine and overnight rest at Gorilla resort or Buhoma community Bandas

Day 3: Gorilla trekking
You will get up early for a quick breakfast and then transfer to the headquarters of the park where you will be briefed before entering the forest to start gorilla tracking. Your guides will brief you and you will meet the park rangers and eventually set off in to the forest to see the giants. It is really unpredictable for how long you will hike before you meet them, however, this range from 2 to 9 hours basing on the gorilla movements. This activity involves walking along steep rocks, maneuvering inclines and sheer slope making it really tiresome; nonetheless, the excitement of encountering these enormous primates’ takes away all the tiredness you went through as you searched for them. Dine and overnight rest at Gorilla resort or Buhoma community Bandas

Day 4: Return to Kampala
You will have a delicious breakfast and then drive back to Kampala
